Delete your Simple Gym account

Simple Gym, published by ThinkWorks SIA, trading as King Digital (app ID lv.kingdigital.simplegymapp)

You can delete your Simple Gym account and the data we hold for it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same things.

1. From inside the app (fastest)

Open Simple Gym and go to the Profile tab.
Open Account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. You do not need to contact us.

2. By email (no app needed)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email thinkworkssia@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my Simple Gym account. We will confirm it is your account, delete it, and reply to confirm. We answer within one month, and normally within a few days.

Deleting some of your data, without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can delete any of it yourself, and the deletion syncs to our server:

A workout: open it from your history and delete it.
A weight or body measurement: open the entry and delete it.
Progress photos and custom-exercise images: delete them where they are shown. These never leave your device in the first place.
Your program and custom exercises: delete them from the program screen.
Your profile photo, @username or display name: clear them in profile settings.

If you would rather we did it, email thinkworkssia@gmail.com from the address on your account, say what you want removed, and we will remove it and reply to confirm. Your account stays open.

What deleting your account removes

What is not deleted, and why

Progress photos backed up to your own iCloud. These were never on our server. They stay in your private iCloud until you delete them, in the app or from iCloud storage in your device settings.
Purchase records. Your Premium purchase is held by Apple or Google, not by us. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund a purchase, and a lifetime purchase can still be restored on a new account.
Server access logs. Ordinary technical logs, which include IP addresses, are kept for up to one month for security and then rotated away.
Anonymous tap counts. The app reports where on a screen people tap, as counts per grid square with no identifier attached. There is nothing in them to link to you, so there is nothing to delete.
